EKOM started charity work in Feb 2009. We provided full financial support for an eye camp in India in collaboration with a charitable hospital. The hospital offered full medical facilities including inpatient facilities. The hospital was fully equipped with about 100 beds for after patient care.

Approximately 800 people were assessed over three days for eye related problems and about 100 cataract operations were performed and paid for by EKOM. Others were assessed for eye related problems and given treatment accordingly (see photographs in the photo gallery)
